1:4.2 Fibre Optic 45° Contra-Angle Surgical Handpiece
The 1:4.2 Fibre Optic 45° Contra-Angle Surgical Handpiece is designed to provide enhanced access, visibility and controlled performance during demanding dental procedures. Its 1:4.2 speed-increasing ratio delivers efficient rotational performance, while the 45-degree head angle helps improve access to difficult posterior and surgical areas.
The integrated fibre optic illumination enhances visibility around the treatment site, supporting more accurate positioning and clearer working conditions. Its contra-angle configuration offers improved manoeuvrability and a balanced feel in hand, making it a practical choice for clinicians who require precision in restricted intraoral spaces.

Care, Lubrication & Sterilisation
To help maintain performance and extend the working life of the handpiece, clean, lubricate and sterilise it after each use.
Oiling Instructions — Remove the bur before maintenance. Wipe the handpiece externally, apply approved dental handpiece lubricant through the appropriate lubrication port, then run briefly to expel excess oil before sterilisation.
Autoclave Instructions — After cleaning and lubricating, place the handpiece in a suitable sterilisation pouch and autoclave in line with your practice protocol and the manufacturer’s instructions. Allow it to cool and dry fully before use.
Important Care Advice — Use only approved handpiece maintenance oil. Do not immerse the handpiece in liquid disinfectant or place it in an ultrasonic cleaner unless specifically permitted by the manufacturer. Always remove the bur before cleaning, lubrication and sterilisation.
