Fibre Optic Internal Irrigation 6-Hole Air Motor Dental Handpiece

The Fibre Optic Internal Irrigation 6-Hole Air Motor is designed to provide smooth, dependable power delivery for compatible dental contra-angle and straight handpieces. Its air-driven design offers controlled performance for a range of routine clinical procedures, while the integrated fibre optic connection supports improved illumination of the treatment area.

Featuring an internal irrigation system, this air motor helps direct coolant through compatible attachments towards the working field. The six-hole connection is designed for use with appropriate fibre optic dental unit tubing, providing a practical solution for surgeries requiring visibility, cooling and reliable day-to-day handling.

Care, Lubrication & Sterilisation

To maintain optimum performance, clean and sterilise the motor after each use.

Cleaning Instructions — Disconnect the motor from the dental unit and remove any attached handpiece before cleaning. Wipe the exterior carefully and ensure the water and air channels remain clear.

Oiling Instructions — Lubricate only where specified by the manufacturer. Do not over-oil the motor or allow lubricant to enter the fibre optic and irrigation ports.

Autoclave Instructions — Where the motor is marked as autoclavable, place it in a suitable sterilisation pouch and sterilise according to your practice protocol and the manufacturer’s guidance. Allow it to cool and dry fully before reconnecting.

Important Care Advice — Do not immerse the motor in liquid disinfectant or place it in an ultrasonic cleaner unless specifically approved by the manufacturer. Use only compatible attachments, couplings and maintenance products.

Please check compatibility with your dental unit, six-hole tubing, fibre optic system and handpiece attachments before purchase.
