Dental Fibre Optic Implant Reduction 20:1 Contra-Angle Handpiece – Detachable
The Dental Fibre Optic Implant Reduction 20:1 Contra-Angle Handpiece is designed for controlled, high-torque performance during implant and surgical procedures. Its 20:1 reduction ratio converts motor speed into slower, more precise rotation, supporting accurate handling where stability and control are essential.
The integrated fibre optic illumination improves visibility at the surgical site, while the detachable design allows convenient handling, maintenance and component changes. Its balanced contra-angle profile supports comfortable intraoral access and reliable manoeuvrability, particularly in posterior and restricted treatment areas.
Key Features
20:1 Reduction Ratio — Provides high torque at reduced speed for controlled implant and surgical procedures.
Fibre Optic Illumination — Enhances visibility of the working field for improved precision.
Detachable Design — Supports convenient maintenance, cleaning and compatible attachment changes.
Contra-Angle Profile — Offers improved intraoral access and comfortable handling during surgical treatment.
Controlled Performance — Designed to support steady, accurate operation where precision is required.
Durable Construction — Built for regular clinical use with a professional, easy-to-clean finish.
Suitable for Implant Dentistry — Ideal for implant placement and other suitable surgical applications when used with a compatible implant motor and bur system.
Care, Lubrication & Sterilisation
To maintain optimum performance and prolong the service life of the handpiece, clean, lubricate and sterilise it after every use.
Oiling Instructions — Remove the bur before maintenance. Wipe the external surfaces clean, apply approved dental handpiece lubricant to the appropriate lubrication or drive port, and run the handpiece briefly to expel excess oil before sterilisation.
Autoclave Instructions — After cleaning and lubrication, place the handpiece in a suitable sterilisation pouch and steam sterilise in accordance with your practice protocol and the manufacturer’s instructions. Allow it to cool and dry fully before reassembly and use.
Important Care Advice — Use only approved dental handpiece maintenance oil. Do not immerse the handpiece in liquid disinfectant or use an ultrasonic cleaner unless specifically permitted by the manufacturer. Always remove the bur before cleaning, lubricating and sterilising.
Please ensure compatibility with your implant motor, fibre optic connection, coupling and surgical bur system before purchase.
