Care, Lubrication & Sterilisation

For optimum performance, clean and maintain the handpiece after each use.

Oiling Instructions — Remove the bur and attachment where applicable. Wipe the exterior clean, then apply approved dental handpiece lubricant to the recommended drive or lubrication port. Run briefly after lubrication to expel excess oil before sterilisation.

Autoclave Instructions — Following cleaning and lubrication, place the handpiece and detachable components in suitable sterilisation pouches. Autoclave in accordance with your practice protocol and the manufacturer’s instructions. Allow all components to cool and dry fully before reassembly and use.

Important Care Advice — Use only approved dental handpiece maintenance oil. Do not immerse components in liquid disinfectant or use an ultrasonic cleaner unless specifically approved by the manufacturer. Always remove burs before cleaning, lubrication and sterilisation.
